Maybe He Could Miss Her More

(Ed Bentley)
2008-05-16
E Bentley
Based on a true story that happens all to often in Life...
Maybe he could miss her more - Ed Bentley

His thoughts reach back a year ago
When a morning kiss would jumpstart each new day
How she'd hold his hand, they'd talk for hours
So in love, had so much to say
Then suddenly, she was gone
And there was nothing, the doctors could have done
Breaks his heart, thinking how
Shel never held, a daughter or a son

Chorus
Maybe he could miss her more
When every three days turns to four
And if he would never sleep
Or God made an eight day week
When flowers bloom in deep, cold snow
And all the rivers ceased to flow
When a fire chills him to the core
Then maybe, he could miss her more

Her little dog still ain't Itself, just waits by the door, all day long
And he wishes he could hear her say, "you drink your morning coffee, way to strong"

Bridge
It helps to see his family, when he stops by, almost every Sunday
They think he's getting better, they dont know what his life is like, on Mondays

Half Chorus/Tag
When flowers bloom in deep, cold snow
And all the rivers ceased to flow
When a fire chills him to the core
Then maybe he could miss her more
When every three days turns to four
Then maybe he could miss her more
